Martina Kwan

Born in Hong Kong to a German mother and Chinese father, Martina Kwan was destined to a life that was different.  She spent her childhood in Asia, the Middle East and Europe, but credits living in Beirut, Lebanon during the Lebanese War between the ages of 8-10, as an experience that defined much of her fearlessness today. 

Her unique path in life has shaped her into a woman of drive and determination.  Her 2 Master of Science degrees secured her senior roles with KPMG, PwC, Lehman Brothers and Ian Schrager Hotels. At heart she is an award-winning Business Entrepreneur and has won 2 Emmy Awards, 4 Telly Awards and 9 Furniture Design Awards. 

Daring to be different is what drives Martina today…literally!  10 years ago, at the age of 50, Martina changed her life completely and became determined to become a race car driver.  She is now a 3x Champion, FIA International Licensed race car driver and drove professionally as a fully sponsored factory driver for the American car manufacturer Saleen in the GT World Challenge. 

She is the proud Mother of 2 beautiful girls, a 2x International Best-Selling Author and is happy to have met the love of her life Dwain almost 9 years ago.  Workwise, she is the CEO of DK Racing School, which is the World’s first 100% Woman Owned Racing School open to the public, and is a pro race car coach. She is also the CEO of her coaching company Daring to Be Different, in which she is a Champion Mindset and Confidence Coach and the Creator of the FIERCE (Freedom to Invent Eternal Real Confidence and Effortless Life) Method. She also hosts her signature FIERCE Confidence Women’s Retreats, which are meant to turn Challenges into New Beginnings.  Through her unique coaching modalities, including being a Certified Lifestyle and Wellness Coach from Harvard Medical School, she is able to quickly and effectively help people eradicate their problems, fears and traumas, etc.  Anything is possible at any age, if you believe in yourself.
